SA Photonics’ 10 GHz Modulated Light Source is a research grade device which utilizes our proprietary MZM biasing techniques. This bias technique allows very high accuracy biasing for improved dynamic range and allows for flexible bias points for advanced optical communication systems. This source has a narrow linewidth 50 mW laser as its source, providing up to 10 dBm of modulated output power. It takes an external RF input up to 10 GHz as its modulation source. The unit is a robust, reliable, benchtop source with front panel and remote user interfaces available.
