Photonic Beamformers
SA Photonics has developed the technology for an electronically steerable phased array beamformer for very large RADAR antenna arrays.
This beamformer will save over 300 lbs. and is five times smaller in volume compared to conventional approaches. This size and weight advantage will allow for the construction of very large RADAR arrays for unprecedented battlefield coverage.
